So lately I’ve been reviewing a lot of high tech and modern vapes of all sorts but today I thought I’d review something a little bit more old school.
I’m talking of course about the Da Buddha vaporizer – a desktop vaporizer that’s been around for over 8 years now and that continues this day to sell incredibly well and to this day.
And in today’s Da Buddha review I’ll be taking a closer look and letting you know how it stacks up against some of the newer vapes that are out there.
First Impressions Of The Da Buddha…
Right away just by looking at the design on this vaporizer you can tell that they have a pretty unique setup going on here and the Da Buddha really does look and feel quite different from almost any other vaporizer that’s out there.
Based on sheer aesthetics alone that I really do kind of dig the style of these vaporizers. I’m sure it wont be for everything but it definitely has a lot of character. It also feels sturdy and like it’s made from high quality materials.
How The Da Buddha Works…
Using the Da Buddha vape is fairly straightforward.
After plugging in and turning on the vape you’re going to then want to take the silicone tubing that’s included with your vape and in one end attach what they call the ‘Da Buddha wand’ which has our herb chamber in the end of it:
And then in the other end of the tubing you’ll want to insert the mouth piece which looks like this:
Then as the vape is heating up just fill up the herb chamber with your herb and once the vape is hot the heating coil should turn a bright red (warning: this gets hot so don’t touch it while in use or for a while after).
Then we just insert our packed wand into the Da Buddha where the heating element is and inhale through the mouth piece at the other end.
Vape Quality = Amaaazing.
This thing might be an older device but damn does it hit well.
After just a little bit of suction the vapor just start to effortlessly flow through the tubing and taste is incredibly smooth and incredibly clean and right up there in terms of vapor quality. I’d say in terms of taste it’s even comparable to the quality that you will get in other newer vaporizers such as the Plenty or the Volcano which cost almost double the price of the Da Buddha.
And I really think that if vape quality and flavour is extremely important to you but you perhaps don’t have the money for some of these newer and more expensive vaporizers or if you just want something a bit different and unique… then the Da Buddha is an awesome way to go.
The flexible tubing also makes the Da Buddha easy to share with friends and it’s also surprisingly easy to adjust the kemperature and find your vaping sweet spot. even though there aren’t any ‘pre-set’ levels like you would usually find on other vapes.
The Only Real Downside…
The only downside I would say is that it’s not exactly the most portable of devices as it does have quite a few different parts and pieces many of which are fairly fragile.
It’s great as an at-home vape but if you’re looking for something that you can take to a friends house or party then you might find the Da Buddha is a bit to ‘fiddly’ to do so easily.
The device does also come with a ‘travel bag’ however it is a bit of a weird design with a ‘half zip’ and then a giant opening… and regardless I reckon I’ll just be keeping this one for around the house.
The Verdict: A High End Taste With A Wallet Friendly Price…
Although the Da Buddha might not have as many bells and whisltes as some of the other more modern vapes – what this vaporizer does set out to do it does extremely well (which is to provide you with a super high quality vaping experience).
I think it’s easily one of the best whip vaporizers I’ve tried to date and it’s definitely one of the best within this price range.
It’s old school but it’s got style and if you’re looking for something that gives you an amazing quality vapor at a low price then they don’t get much better than this!
I think I’m going to give the Da Buddha an 8/10.
