What’s up vapers and welcome back to another vaporizer review.
Today I’m going to be checking out the Summit portable vaporizer. It’s small, it’s lightweight and it’s also one of the more affordable portable vapes that is currently on the market.
But is it any good? Read on to find out…
So right off the bat you’ll notice that the Vapium Summit vaporizer is well packaged and definitely not a generic or ‘cookie cutter’ style vape.
The device itself is made out of plastic but I really the style and size and shape of this thing. It fits extremely well in your hands and is crazy light and portable too weighing in at just 88 grams.
In terms of size and portability this puts the Vapium SUMMIT right up there with best even compared to some of the much more expensive devices that are out there.
In fact it’s even lighter than the Pax 2 which is already incredibly light at just 92 grams. And it’s about 50% lighter than the CRAFTY which again is already a small vape weighing in at about 135 grams.
It’s slim design also makes it really easy to fit this bad boy into your pockets even whilst carrying other stuff around making it a true pocket vaporizer.
It’s look and style also makes it quite discreet too and the design definitely doesn’t scream out ‘VAPORIZER!!’ or anything like that.
The rubber grip is a nice touch too which just adds to the comfort of using this device and the magnetic herb chamber is also cool allowing the herb chamber lid to easily snap and lock into place.
Included with our summit vape we also got a few other bits and pieces including:
- A cleaning kit. It reminds me a lot of the cleaning kits that you get with the Pax devices and comes with everything you need to thoroughly clean your vape.
- A waterproof pouch bag sort of thing that I guess you could carry your vape in on outdoor hikes or trips to defend against the rain. It’s a bit of a weird shape though and I doubt I’ll be using it much.
- An instruction manual that’s well printed. High quality. Glossy. Has Lots of diagrams and no broken English.
- And we’ve also got both an AC Adapter and a USB charger.
What I also like about this device is that unlike most of other portables that are in the same sort of price range the Summit is a one piece unit meaning there’s less to break and less pieces to lose and ultimately it just makes it more practical in terms of portability.
If you take a look at other similarly priced vaporizers such as the FlowerMate or the Magic Flight Launch Box whilst these are both wicked vapes you will notice they have separate detachable pieces so if you’re looking for something that’s just one piece then the SUMMIT might be right up your alley.
Using The SUMMIT…
Using the device is also extremely easy and intuitive. You wont find yourself fumbling through the instruction booklet for half an hour trying to figure out which buttons do what things.
We simply just remove the herb chamber cover. We fill her up. And then we turn the Summit vape on by holding down the power button for 3 seconds.
We also have the option to change the vaporizer between 8 different heat settings which can be adjusted really easily. Just press the up button to increase your temperature and the down button to take it down a notch.
Then just wait for the device to heat up to your desired temperature and once it’s done it will turn green and let out a few vibrations just in case you have gotten distracted.
Then just hit the vape and enjoy!
The Verdict: An Extremely Solid Vaporizer!
You can never be too sure what you’re going to be in for when a vape has a price tag in this sort of range but there really is a hell of a lot to like about the Summit.
The taste is good. The clouds are big and the quality is definitely good particularly for a portable. It’s not hot or burn-y and overall this is vape definitely did surprise me.
What’s more is it also has a lot of features and options that are normally reserved for much more expensive portable vaporizers including 8 vape temperatures, a vibration feature, the ability to charge via USB or a power point as well as the ability to vape and charge at the same time.
Probably what’s most impressive though is that despite all of these features it’s also a ridiculously cheap vaporizer. Currently it’s priced at less than $150 making it easily one of the most affordable portables on the market.
And so for all of these reasons… I’m giving the Summit a badass score of 8/10.
